Made from construction paper and found objects, O'Keefe's Bouquet is a roll call stop motion animation of famous female artists depicted as smiley flower seeds in a garden. The ladies proceed to giggle and gossip until they're interrupted by their great predecessor: Georgia O'Keefe. The video serves as a critique of the representation of female identity in an academic setting. It puts forth questions such as, what does it mean to be a feminist artist? How much does female identity affect the way we view art? Is the art interesting purely because it was made by a woman?
